Does this ever happen to you? I think this scene is practically the story of my life. I always convince myself, that my expectations are reasonable and possible, but close to 110.7% of the time the reality of my life goes in the complete opposite direction. And of course I don't think to stop setting my standards high, or avoid my expectations, I repeat this system, and always hope for the happy and positive outcome, and obviously.. I get nothing of the sort. It's sad, i guess.. setting your self up for minor heartbreak.. but my feeling is that someday my life will go against the odds, and surprise me with truly meeting my expectations! We'll have to see.
